Future

Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn

American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer born on November 20, 1983, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Future grew up in the zone 6 area of Atlanta, a neighborhood with a rich history in hip-hop culture. His early influences included artists like OutKast, UGK, and T.I., whose Southern rap sounds heavily impacted his music.

Future’s initial foray into music came through mixtapes, with his first significant release being the mixtape 1000 in 2010.* This helped him gain attention, but it was his second mixtape, Dirty Sprite (2011), and the subsequent projects that truly launched his career.
